What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Advanced Motion Physical Therapy?
Sports and orthopedic clinic in Bluffdale, Utah is looking for a part time physical therapy aide Monday and Wednesday 12 pm-6 pm. Previous experience is desirable but not required. Position is ideal for someone pursuing a career in physical therapy. Responsibilities include assisting the physical therapists, keeping the clinic patient ready and occasional help at the front desk. Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing
Requirements:
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate and caring attitude
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
