- Perform medical procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and cardiac catheterization as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed within the clinic environment.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field with an active Nurse Practitioner license.
- Experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred, particularly in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or hospital medicine.
- Proficiency in performing esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Ability to lift patients as necessary while ensuring safety during procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and support.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
