Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Administer basic first aid as needed and ensure the safety of clients at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and physical activity.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior care or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living environments and nursing home protocols is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare staff.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
