Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, particularly seniors and those with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during heavy lifting.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure a safe living environment.
- Assist with medication reminders and daily living activities in assisted living settings.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of caregiving best practices and the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Proficient in meal preparation with knowledge of dietary needs for seniors.
- Certification in First Aid or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to assist others in their daily lives.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
