What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Advanced ObGyn?
We are a busy Ob/Gyn office located in Huntsville, AL near Crestwood Medical Center. As our office has grown, we are looking for an additional receptionist. The position can start immediately or as soon as the selected candidate is available. The position will be a 4 1/2 day a week position (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and half day Friday).
The candidate MUST have 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist. Additionally, preference will be given to candidates with experience in the ObGyn field.
The candidate must have excellent people and phone skills as well as basic computer skills. We are also looking for someone who is outgoing and works well with others!
Primary duties will include checking out/in patients, collecting payments, scheduling appointments, posting charges, answering the phone, making phone calls to patients, sending messages to nurses and other staff, and helping patients with paperwork. Other duties may be assigned from time to time. Phone calls or in-office inquiries will not be accepted.
