We’re looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our orthopedic practice and play a key role in delivering top-tier musculoskeletal care. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a passion for patient-centered care, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and treat patients in clinic, providing compassionate and comprehensive orthopedic care
- Round on inpatients at multiple local hospitals, monitoring progress and ensuring continuity of care
- See and evaluate new orthopedic consults with guidance and support from the on-call orthopedic surgeon
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose injuries and conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, lab work)
- Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic treatments to manage pain and recovery
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventative care strategies
- Provide follow-up care, including post-operative management and wound care
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care
- Contribute to the overall success of our team by delivering high-quality care and innovative treatment approaches
