What are the responsibilities and job description for the Histology Tech position at Advanced Pathology Solutions?
We are currently seeking licensed and experienced histology technician for local satellite histology (1 person) lean-lab. Job duties include grossing specimen, cutting and embedding blocks, staining and cover-slipping slides, and other duties as necessary. Must be able to work independently and unsupervised on a daily basis. Technician must be able to complete 90 blocks per day.
Must be eligible to perform high complexity testing under CLIA guidelines §493.1489; college transcript verification required before hired.
Bachelor of Science degree or HT with Associate of Science required.
Competitive pay based on experience and educational qualifications.
Pre-employment drug screening required.
