JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Injection Molding Machine Operator
Department: Injection Molding
JOB PURPOSE
Operate and monitor one or more plastic injection-molding machines by safely removing parts from material handling device (e.g., chutes, conveyors) and performing secondary operations (e.g. assembly, trimming, sonic welding) within a specified cycle time.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures to correctly produce parts
- Mold, trim, inspect and pack parts to meet customer requirements
- Able to detect defective parts
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Supervisor
- Complete line clearance, scrap records, training records, and other documentation as required
- Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Other duties as assigned by the Injection Molding Manager

Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Required: None
Preferred: 1-2 years injection molding experience

Skills
Required:
- Ability to use basic tool.
- Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods
- Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
Schedule:
2nd Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Must be able to work overtime on the weekends occasionally
