Receptionist- Part Time
A small, locally-owned home medical equipment company is seeking an intelligent, self-motivated, punctual, outgoing and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and excellent memory to join our team on a part-time basis. Basic job requirements include, but might not be limited to:
· Answering phones politely, bi-lingual is highly preferential
· Compiling and initiating new patient files
· Data entry and faxing
· Light to moderate filing
· Restocking of various office machines and supplies
· Assisting coworkers/supervisors with various projects as required and when time permits
· Verbal communication with patients both in person and via telephone
· Computer literate: must be competent with MS Word, Excel and e-mail and be able to learn proprietary software
· Customer service experience is a necessity
· Knowledge of insurance and medical coding are not required, but helpful
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and automobile insurance are necessary, as occasional bank and post office runs are needed in company vehicles.
Hours for this position are currently 0900-1500 hours, Monday thru Friday. Some slight time alterations might be considered, but must be during normal business hours and must be approved by management beforehand.
