Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants provide pharmacy services including pharmacists, technicians, and automation to behavioral health facilities nationwide. We are currently seeking a full time pharmacy technician for a behavioral health facility in San Antonio, TX. 40 h/week Monday to Friday.
Skills
- Unit dosing of oral medications
- Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
- Removing outdated drugs
- Proven experience as pharmacy technician
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
Job Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- License/Certification: Currently licensed in Texas.
- Physical Requirements: Moderate to low physical demands.
