Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health and drug treatment centers by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, hospital trained Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a behavioral health facility in the Detroit, MI area. This is for a Part-time position, Saturday-Sunday, 8 am-12:30pm every other weekend.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred.
- Hospital Experience preferred.
- Active registration with Michigan Board of Pharmacy REQUIRED-Please include registration number on Resume.
- National certification preferred
SKILLS
- Unit dosing of oral medications
- Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
- Removing outdated drugs
- Proven experience as pharmacy technician
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
Job Type: Part-time
