What are the responsibilities and job description for the RiverPlace Behavioral Hospital Full Time Pharmacy Technician position at Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants?
We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced Full Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at River Place Behavioral in LaPlace, LA. We are a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health facilities.
DUTIES: Unit dosing of oral medications. Inventory Control functions: checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing orders with vendors; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs. Prescription order entry and preparation of orders for dispensing. Ensures medication availability by maintaining/stocking Automated Dispensing Machines
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred. Hospital Experience and Technician Certification preferred.
Active registration LA Board of Pharmacy REQUIRED
40 hours/ week 6am-2pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
