What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Advanced Physical Medicine?
Advanced Physical Medicine is looking for a candidate to help assist in patient care, modality treatment and some front desk duties. You will work with a team that includes a DC,MD, LPT, PTA and MA(s). We are a multi-disciplinary office and we help care for patients who are involved in Auto Accidents, Work Injuries and/or Slip and Fall injuries.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Setting up patients on modalities (EMS, Traction, Ultra sound, ect.)
- Organization of patient files and records
- Scheduling Appointments / Referrals
- Answering phones
- Checking Messages
- Appointment reminders
- Maintaining the front desk/clinic
- Keeping track and Managing Patient's treatment plan
- Setting up patients on modality treatment
- Dispense medication

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
