Job Overview
The Community Outreach Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering relationships between our organization and the community. This position is responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies that promote our mission, enhance community engagement, and support our programs. Key Responsibilities
· Travel across multiple counties to identify and develop community partnerships.
· Attend meetings and events, including those scheduled after 5 PM, to represent our organization and build relationships.
· Research and create a detailed spreadsheet of potential event locations, including community centers, businesses, and other relevant venues.
· Cold-call venues and organizations toschedule outreach events.
· Engage with community members and actively attempt to book patients on the spot.
· Stay adaptable and eager to learn new strategies to maximize outreach success.
Qualifications
· Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to travel.
· Comfortable making cold calls and handling outreach scheduling.
· Strong communication and people skills with an outgoing personality.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Highly organized and able to track outreach efforts in a spreadsheet.
