What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Technician position at Advanced Physical Therapy?
We are currently seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at our clinic located in South Gilbert. In this role, you will work alongside our physical therapist, and PTA to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Some Responsibilities Include:
· Efficient patient set up with modalities (ultrasound, ice, heat, electrical stimulation, soft-tissue massage, traction) to ensure patient safety and comfort
· Assisting patients with exercises and stretching
· Preparing and maintaining treatment areas and equipment
Schedule:
We offer flexible scheduling and have availability on:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday for either early mornings until afternoon or in the afternoon to close (about 9pm)
- Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (12:30pm) to evenings (6:30pm)
- Saturday mornings (7am-1pm)
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age with minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous knowledge with anatomy and physiology is preferred but not required
- Candidate should be friendly, hardworking, self-motivated, and show initiative
- Candidate must have good observational and communications skills with both providers and patients
**Training is not required and will be provided for the right candidate
