Packagers are assigned to work with plastic pieces, as they need additional handling and packaging. Duties include, but are not limited to labeling, bagging, assembly and packaging.
Essential Functions
Meet Quality Control Standards / Follow Established Procedures.
Observe to insure all required pieces are included when kits are being assembled.
Inspect all parts for defects and follow instructions as to what is necessary.
Maintain quality of work finished.
Assembly and Packaging
Assemble unfinished components to make a completed product
Label products for retail sale
Meet Production Goals
Meet daily quotas that are given.
Keep work area clean and maintain a productive work environment
Tape up bags / boxes as they are completed.
Replace supplies as needed.
Sweep areas around workspace.
Empty garbage.
Additional Functions
Participate in revolving cleaning duties of break-room and restroom.
Attend safety committee as assigned.
Perform safety committee duties as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed by supervisor.
Qualifications
Ability to follow instructions and communicate with supervisor.
Ability to read or to interpret documents such as safety rules and job descriptions.
Ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately.
Ability to communicate and work well with others.
Ability to maintain work atmosphere of mutual purpose and respect.
No previous training is necessary.
