Job Characteristics:
- Translating information to the end user in a meaningful manner
- Experience providing and creating training materials, includes analyzing company needs, developing and implementing training programs
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle duties in a manner which develops trust and protects confidentiality
- Ability to communicate orally and writing in a clear and effective manner
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs for organization, develop organizational training plan for all departments
- Creates and maintains compliant training records and files and ensures training schedules and documentation is up to date in accordance with laws, regulations, and company SOPs.
- Monitors new hire training and ensures timely completion and effectiveness of training, including the deployment of new hire on-boarding, coordinating schedules and follow up with the Designated Trainer’s responsible for training.
- Performs as a member of the Safety Committee, ensures OSHA documentation is posted timely and implements ad hoc training as needed.
- Development of specific goals, targets and plans to prioritize organizations training needs
- Establishment of long-range targets with action plans
- Creation and maintenance of training materials
- Driving company metrics cross functionally and within the department
- Monitor, evaluate training effectiveness, if results are not accomplished create action plan
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
- 5 years of human resources experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and practices, including FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA and other necessary laws and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
