Job Overview:

• This Power Apps Developer must have a strong, hands-on, demonstrable background building and deploying custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps platform.
• This low code developer is tasked with developing new and help maintain existing applications written in Microsoft Power Platform and includes technologies like Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and other related technologies.
• You should possess prior experience with Dataverse and have utilized Connectors for Oracle and SQL Server databases, along with a solid understanding of how real-time and analytical systems can work together.

Duties:

• Development, and maintenance and also helping set up, design, develop, and mature the low code development platform and capabilities at TPWD.
• This role involves analyzing requirements, developing custom applications software, and helping throughout the lifecycle, conducting unit testing, using and recommending best practices, and producing documentation.
• The developer needs to have a big picture idea on how the various components work together and should provide guidance on how it could integrate with other TPWD processes and applications.

Job Role:

• The developer interprets project requirements and implements and maintains the components in Microsoft Power platform and other related technologies.
• Works with business personnel to understand the requirements and determine optimal solutions
• Develops the custom applications, provides after-hours support if needed.
• Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
• Performs project-related additional duties as assigned.
• Complies with all Agency, Division, and Branch rules, regulations, and procedures.

EXPERIENCE-

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 5 Years: Application development and maintenance, computer system analysis and testing in the field of information technology.
• 5 Years: Microsoft Power platform.
• 3 Years: Microsoft Dataverse as storage, data modelling and management.
• 3 Years: Power App Custom application development with experience in Canvas and Model driven app.
• 2 Years: Power Pages.
• 2 Years: Power Fx Formula language.
• 2 Years: Restful APIs.
• 2 Years: JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, and JSON.
• 2 Years: Microsoft Azure DevOps and other Azure Services.
• 2 Years: Pre-built and custom Connectors, and Gateways to connect to data sources securely.
• 5 Years: Working in a project team environment, Agile Methodology.
• 1 Year: Power Automate RPA/DPA integration.
• 1 Year: Digital documents and invoice processing in Power Automate with AI Builder.
• 1 Year: Power BI Integration.
• 1 Year: Power Platform Developer Certification.

Contract Details:

• The primary work location(s) will be at 4200 Smith School Road Austin Texas 78744.
• The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework/Remote. You are required to already reside in Austin, Texas.
• Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
• Services are expected to start 12/16/2024 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1280 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
