Overview:
This Systems Analyst contractor position is part of the HHSC Managed Care Utilization Review team and will develop a customized solution in the HHS Microsoft 365 Power Platform for the modernization of the program's utilization review forms. This position will perform application development duties that will involve the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps, (model-driven) Dataverse, Power Automate Flows, and Power BI reports.
Responsibilities:
- Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
- Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.
- Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
- Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
- Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
EXPERIENCE-
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 Years: Work experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
- 4 Years: Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI technical solutions.
- 4 Years: Microsoft Power Platform development experience.
- 4 Years: Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse.
- 4 Years: Developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows.
- 4 Years: Dataverse tables and uses.
- 4 Years: Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
- 4 Years: Power BI report development.
- 2 Years: Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
- 2 Years: Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project.
- 2 Years: Agile development and sprint planning.
- 2 Years: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
- 1 Year: Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and PowerApps portals.
Contract Details:
- The primary work location(s) will be at 701 W 51st Street Austin, TX 78750.
- This position is Hybrid and you are required to attend work onsite 2 days a week.
- Candidate who reside in the STATE OF TEXAS are preferred.
- Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
- Services are expected to start 02/24/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 838 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
