Unleash your potential as a Quality Coordinator at Advanced Programs, where you'll support the Quality Control process by performing the following duties: support incoming, in-process, and final inspection to include sheet metal, cable assemblies, electronic assemblies, subassemblies, custom parts and components for conformance. Coordinates efforts in the corrective action process by defining, documenting, containment, identifying root cause and implementing a corrective action plan. Assist with performing the following duties with minimal supervision. Supports MRB effort, Assist w/development of product Inspection Check sheets. Assist with inspector training.
Responsibilities
Examines unit for physical defects such as broken or missing leads, excess solder, holes in sealing material, unevenly wound coil, coating and plating blemishes, oil leaks, faulty welds, scratches, cracks, and chips.
Examines fabricated parts to confirm conformance to drawings.
Compares hardware on assemblies, subassemblies, and parts to parts list to verify installation.
Examines hardware for specified contact with conductor area.
Rejects faulty assembly, part, or component and records type and quantity of defects.
Measures parts to verify accuracy of dimensions.
Examines final assemblies to confirm conformance to BOM, checklists, and sales order and release product for shipment.

Education and/or Experience
Associate degree (A. A.) from college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standards. ISO 9001-2015 Internal Auditor Training
Must be able to read and interpret assembly, source control and specification control drawings. Must be familiar with quality assurance tools such as calipers, torque screwdrivers, cable testers and volt/ohm meters.
