Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Operate and maintain CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations and providing support during disputes.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not required.
- Valid security certification is a plus; additional training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or issues.
- Must possess effective communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel.
