Greeting office visitors at check in and managing patient intake. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be essential in delivering outstanding patient care and administrative support within a medical office setting. Reporting to the Office Manager, your core skills in medical administrative support and patient service will enable you to manage front desk operations, assist with medical records, and ensure a welcoming environment for patients. Your premium skills in EHR systems and HIPAA compliance will enhance operational efficiency, while your relevant skills in Microsoft Office and customer service will contribute to a seamless patient experience. Join our team to make a meaningful impact in healthcare. Main focus will be patient focus with light troubleshooting. This position will entail handling phone calls, faxes and email that come into office daily in between check in duties.
Responsibilities
- collecting co pays
- updating patient demographics and insurance
- managing HSTA machines
- Provide exceptional patient service by managing appointments and addressing inquiries during check in process.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance for all patients.
- Assist in office management tasks, including inventory control and supply ordering.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to prepare documents and reports as needed.
- Collaborate with medical staff to support efficient office operations and enhance patient experiences.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
