Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in financial concepts and private investigation skills. This role requires excellent phone etiquette and investigation skills, as well as proficiency in maintaining confidentiality, computer skills and communication. The Investigator will play a crucial role in conducting thorough investigations to ensure accurate information for day to day operations in a very busy automobile repossession company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive investigations into information used to locate assets out for recovery.
- Analyze personal information to discern pertinent and useful information to locate assets.
- Utilize investigative software and repossession software to gather accurate information.
- Communicate effectively with debtors and associates to gather information and arrange for vehicles to be picked up as necessary and/or required.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies and communicate information relating to accounts.
- Provide accurate updates for team members and clients daily.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to automobile repossession.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of repossession best practices and laws.
- Experience with computer systems and software tools.
- Knowledge of investigative practices.
- Knowledge of maintaining personal information and confidentiality.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Prior experience in an investigative role is advantageous but not mandatory.
