Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage sales orders, analyze product availability and sales data, and produce corresponding reports.
- Support the order management process, particularly during month-end and quarter-end closing periods.
- Review, authorize, and process manual/EDI orders within order management systems working towards automation.
- Drive local initiatives aimed at process excellence and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics partners to ensure timely stock deliveries to the warehouse.
- Resolve discrepancies in the EDI interface related to trade products, PAP, and samples inventory with 3PL vendors.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to achieve set objectives.
- Assist with the implementation of supply chain and operations support system infrastructure, including the development of supply chain manuals.
- Provide consultation and resolutions for key stakeholders regarding inventory adjustments, particularly in relation to SAP postings.
- Manage the transition of reports from Excel to Qlik, coordinate projects, and liaise with other departments.
- Leverage expertise in business intelligence and metadata systems to manage complex data sets.
- Utilize statistical methods to support supply chain management.
- Demonstrate knowledge in specialty drug distribution as well as wholesale and retail distribution processes, including the electronic data interchange (EDI) process.
- Prepare and monitor internal KPIs (e.g., product availability, days out-of-stock, obsolete inventory, OTIF, forecasting accuracy) and report them in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance service within the local supply chain function.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with regulatory, quality, and financial policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet inventory requirements.
- Identify and address process gaps to align inventory levels with actual needs.
- Handle compliance and license processing as required.
- Support inventory control-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAP, ValueTrak, and Qlik is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
