Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Staff Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of logistics operations within our pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role leverages augmentation experience to support site logistics leadership and provides essential technical information that drives effective shipment execution. The specialist will coordinate and execute shipments for finished goods, bulk affiliates, and external customers while ensuring strict adherence to GMP standards and US Customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Support & Augmentation:
- Provide on-demand augmentation and support to site logistics leadership to streamline operations.
- Supply technical information and guidance to enable the efficient execution of shipment activities.
- Shipment Coordination & Execution:
- Oversee and coordinate shipments of finished goods, bulk affiliates, and products destined for external customers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate scheduling and execution of shipments.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all logistics operations are fully compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and US Customs regulations.
- Maintain all required shipping permits and manage timely renewals, including updating power of attorney documentation with brokers.
