Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support the Honeywell Distributed Control System (DCS) in multiple facilities. The Senior Engineer will be key in supporting design teams, managing Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), and ensuring the integration of instrumentation systems with the Honeywell Experion PKS DCS.
Key Responsibilities :
- Engineering Support for Honeywell DCS : Provide advanced engineering expertise and technical support for the Honeywell Experion PKS DCS, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Design and Documentation : Work with the design team to produce submittals, I / O lists, and P&IDs for DCS systems. Ensure all designs and documentation align with project and regulatory standards.
- RFI Management : Respond to and assist with the resolution of Requests for Information (RFIs) related to control systems and instrumentation designs.
- System Integration & Testing : Assist with system integration, testing, and the start-up of new control systems and upgrades. Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Project Support : Provide project support for ongoing Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), ensuring all systems meet production and operational goals.
- Collaboration & Training : Coordinate with stakeholders and other engineers to address technical challenges and provide necessary training and support on instrumentation and control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering, with a focus on Honeywell DCS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of DCS design, system integration, P&ID development, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and managing technical submittals and RFIs.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for instrumentation design and project management.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Qualifications :
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
