Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Curbside Programs Project Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of major arrivals and departures curbside improvement projects. This role is ideal for a construction-savvy leader with a strong background in managing public-facing infrastructure projects within active operating environments such as transportation hubs, airports, or similar complex facilities.
As a key member of the project team, you will oversee scope, cost, schedule, and stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure successful delivery of construction and renovation work that enhances the public experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Construction Management
- Lead all phases of project development, from concept through closeout.
- Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of curbside upgrade programs including canopies, façade renovations, landscaping, lighting, and guest experience enhancements.
- Ensure construction activities meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize disruption in active environments.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between project owners, design teams, contractors, operations personnel, and external stakeholders.
- Lead coordination efforts and maintain strong communication to keep all parties aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Participate in governance meetings, present project KPIs, and prepare executive reports.
Design & Technical Oversight
- Support RFP development, procurement, and contract negotiations for design and construction services.
- Monitor progress throughout the design and construction lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and non-conformances.
- Oversee design reviews, testing, commissioning, and project documentation.
Field & Documentation Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations and field surveys to support constructability reviews.
- Maintain comprehensive records of scope, drawings, specifications, and changes.
- Track risk reports, change orders, and pay applications with a focus on cost control and contract compliance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in project management within transportation, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven ability to deliver $50M capital projects in active operating environments.
- Strong understanding of various delivery methods: Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CMAR.
- Expertise in scope, schedule, budget control, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent knowledge of industry standards, permitting, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; familiarity with CAD or Revit preferred.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related technical field.
- Master’s degree or certifications such as PMP, PE, LEED, or AICP.
- Previous experience on transportation or airport-related projects is a strong plus.
Additional Details
- Full-time, salaried position (Monday–Friday), based on-site.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to support project requirements.
- Candidates must provide their own laptop and cell phone for business use.
