What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Advanced Restoration?
The Project Manager is the customer service lead on all mitigation and repair projects. The PM guides the entire project by working with the customer to arrive at an agreed scope of work and cost. The PM position is responsible for coordinating all assigned jobs with the assistance of project coordinators, superintendents, and lead technicians.
The PM is to organize project details and administer the project through to a successful and profitable conclusion while representing the integrity, care, and morals of the company.
Responsibilities
Project Estimating
- Use Xactimate estimating software and Google Drive to define the job scope and details, arrive at project cost, negotiate with an insurance adjuster, and minimize additional work performed without authorized change orders.
- Negotiate with vendors for the best material and equipment pricing.
Project Sales
- Negotiate change order requests from the owner and get written authorizations.
- Manage project billing and invoices.
Project Management
- Provide project scope on all mitigation and reconstruction jobs.
- Conduct a walk-through with the customer, lead technicians, and/or superintendents to initiate project start-up.
Responsible for maintaining general project oversight.
- Daily monitoring of project progress and daily updates to all customers/clients.
- Assist office staff with invoices, collections, and legal information.
Representative of Advanced Restoration
- Manage conscientiously and fairly to all customers and subcontractors.
- Actively attempt to resolve any conflicts, concerns, or problems in a calm, reasonable, and thoughtful manner.
- Own the problem and go the extra mile.
Knowledge of current technology
- Use current software Advanced Restoration is operating on. (Xcelerate, Xactimate, Google Drive, Google sheets, etc)
- Know how to use up-to-date hardware. (iPads, iPhone, and laptop computers).
- Ability to create and format comprehensive emails, as required for daily updates to customers and coworkers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year of work experience in Project Management
- Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Understanding of Xactimate software a plus
- Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driving license is required along with a safe driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
