Position Summary:
As a Roof Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and installing various roofing systems. This role requires a focus on safety, customer service, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A Day in the Life:
- Inspect and repair residential and commercial roofing systems, including Shingles, Tile, Metal, TPO, PVC, and EPDM
- Safely operate tools and machinery while working at heights
- Provide professional customer service and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Perform installations and repairs on steep and low-slope roofing systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations (OSHA 10 or 30-hour training)
- Estimate projects and oversee large jobs as needed
- Use construction software (Easybuild, Procore, Dash Company cam) for job management
What We Are Seeking:
- 2-5 years of roofing experience preferred, with knowledge of both steep and low-slope roofing systems
- Safety-minded, team-oriented individual with strong customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including climbing, lifting (up to 100 lbs), and working at heights
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma preferred
- Basic construction and safety knowledge
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
