What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Specialist position at Advanced RX LLC?
- Pay: $16-$20 per hour.
- NO PHARMACY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday with rotating half-day Saturdays (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Flexible start times range from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
Primary Responsibilities
- Electronically input patient information (demographics, health history, current medications, medication allergies) and prescriptions into pharmacy software
- Electronically Processing patient insurance as needed
- Ability to identify errors and add new, critical information to software to assist the customer service team
- Maintain all incoming scripts received by physician offices, remove unwanted faxes, and reconcile duplicate scripts
- Work directly with other team members including other data entry specialists, customer service representatives, pharmacists, and management to provide accurate information
- Using professional judgment of when to escalate an issue to a pharmacist/manager
- Ensures all information is complete and accurate
- Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment
- Ability to navigate multiple systems - web-based systems, shared drives, emails, and job training materials
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred but not required: 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a data entry environment
- Excellent typing skills, superb attention to detail, and is thorough in completing tasks
- Typing Speed of at least 30 WPM
- Self-motivated, proactive, and organized
- Experience with Windows and Google Suite preferred
- Strong attendance and punctuality are necessary for all training and scheduled shifts
