Athletic Trainer Opportunity – $6,000 Sign-On Bonus
A fast-paced orthopedic clinic is seeking a full-time athletic trainer to join its team. This role offers a dynamic mix of clinical and sports medicine responsibilities, including:
- Cast and brace application
- Suture and staple removal
- Wound care and initial post-op visits
- Physician extender support
- School visits and game coverage
- Participation in performance programs
Position Details:
- Employment Status: Full-Time, Exempt
- Schedule: Variable based on school sporting events, including days, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, and weekends
- Work Environment: Clinic and sports medicine settings
Key Responsibilities:
Athletic Trainer Service Delivery
- Provide safe, ethical, and legal patient care while following HIPAA and facility protocols
- Maintain professionalism and accountability in all tasks
- Adapt to changing patient needs and medical advancements
Communication
- Work closely with the orthopedic team to deliver high-quality care
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as a resource for the community regarding orthopedic services
Additional Duties
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Utilize relevant equipment and software proficiently
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Completion of a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program (undergraduate or master’s track)
- Prior athletic training experience preferred
Certifications & Licensure:
- Certified Athletic Trainer (Board of Certification)
- Eligible for or currently holds an Athletic Trainer license
- CPR certification required
