Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities using existing account lists, online tools, and personal networking.
- Proactively prospect potential clients through cold outreach, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), web research, and referrals.
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with company goals to achieve or exceed annual sales targets.
- Clearly communicate our value proposition to prospective clients and provide tailored solutions.
- Account Management
- Manage assigned key accounts, building strong, long-lasting relationships to support client needs and uncover growth opportunities.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients to evaluate satisfaction and explore new possibilities.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services within existing accounts, ensuring continued growth.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, or product performance promptly.
- Sales Process & Performance
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing and ongoing account management.
- Track and analyze account data using SAP or internal systems to identify trends and measure progress against targets.
- Monitor sales performance against budgeted goals, reporting variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts and updates to management.
Industry-Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of products, services, and the competitive landscape, positioning the company as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Identify and analyze market trends, providing actionable insights to enhance market share.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide customized solutions for clients.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to support pipeline health and tracking.
- Develop and execute strategies for the top 10 key accounts, ensuring long-term success and alignment with client goals.
- Work closely with internal teams to monitor account health and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Coordinate technical support or product management assistance as needed to address complex client inquiries.
