Job Summary :
The Vice President of Finance will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s administrative and financial services including the HR Department, supporting and promoting profitable goals and objectives.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- In collaboration with the CEO, develop, implement, operate, maintain, and control the essential financial business of the company.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices, including but not limited to tax laws, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and cost accounting standards (CAS).
- Maintain knowledge of developments and trends in finance and administration with a focus on the outpatient healthcare field including technological advances.
- Oversee with the companies outside professionals revenue cycle management, central administration, and company insurance, including employee health insurance, pension administration, company counsel, and corporate compliance.
- Function as a corporate secretary with duties such as maintaining company by-laws, shareholder agreements, and all physician and other provider contracts and compensation formulas.
- Maintain cash flow, banking, payables, bookkeeping, and accounting reporting.
- Define further and implement key performance indicators and strategic objectives for the Billing Department.
- Oversight of Human Resources Management, policies and procedures, and payroll processes.
- Performs other duties as required.
