Asphalt/Sealcoating Laborer
Advanced Striping and Sealcoating is looking for a hardworking individual with somewhat of a background in construction - we are willing to train the right candidates if from similar background. Preference is given to those with at least 1 year of experience.
This position will perform a variety of physical tasks including using hand tools, power tools and running equipment to apply asphalt and asphalt products.
Responsibilities:
- Positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers
- Jobsite cleaning, operating equipment and maintenance.
- Shovel and loot hot asphalt
- Follow direction of the Foreman with regards to daily production schedule, safety, and activities.
- Use equipment and/or an assortment of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment (ex. skid loaders)
- Operate trucks to transport equipment to and from job sites.
- Responsible for reporting problems and malfunctions with equipment and/or machinery to supervisor and/or shop personnel.
- Maintain a clean job site and equipment
- Must provide excellent service to the customer
Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age
- Stand and move for 8 hours
- Walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch without difficulty
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license absence of major infractions over the prior 3 years.
- High School Diploma/GED
