Position Overview
We are seeking a Power Monitoring Technician to oversee electrical consumption, energy efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives across both manufacturing facilities and shifts. This role will be responsible for monitoring machine energy usage, identifying opportunities for energy reduction, and ensuring optimal power efficiency throughout the plant. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems, energy management, or industrial power monitoring and be capable of working independently to track, analyze, and improve energy consumption.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor and analyze machine energy consumption to identify inefficiencies.

· Implement and track energy-saving initiatives to reduce electrical costs across both facilities.

· Work with maintenance and production teams to ensure machines operate at optimal energy efficiency.

· Assist in developing and maintaining power monitoring systems to track energy usage trends.

· Identify opportunities for electrical system upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with energy regulations and company sustainability goals.

· Maintain accurate records and reports on power consumption and cost savings.

· Support troubleshooting of electrical systems and power-related issues in collaboration with maintenance teams.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in electrical systems preferred.

· 2 years of experience in power monitoring, industrial energy management, or electrical maintenance.

· Knowledge of electrical systems, machine power consumption, and energy efficiency best practices.

· Ability to interpret electrical schematics and energy reports.

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving solutions.

· Experience with power monitoring software, metering devices, and data collection tools is a plus.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for tracking and reporting energy usage.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and across multiple shifts.

Job Type & Pay

• Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
• Pay Range: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Hours & Schedule

• Schedule: Monday – Friday (8-hour shift)
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week (plus overtime as needed)
