Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and process journal entries to reflect the company's financial activities including payrolls.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
- Generate financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Utilize financial software for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar financial software is essential.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with account analysis, budgeting, general ledger reconciliation, and journal entries is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
