We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control Chemist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality control tests on raw materials and finished products using various analytical techniques.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and other analytical instruments.
- Perform wet chemistry analyses and prepare samples for testing.
- Document test results accurately and maintain records in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and report generation.
- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods to enhance product quality.
Skills
- Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques, including spectroscopy and gas chromatography.
- Strong knowledge of biochemistry principles as they relate to product testing.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data interpretation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
