Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have prior OR experience, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to providing exceptional care. Experience in Cardiac and Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.) procedures is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
· Provide safe, effective, and high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
· Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning
· Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow nurses to ensure seamless patient care
· Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly identifying and responding to changes in condition
· Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols
· Document nursing care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with policy and regulatory standards
· Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey (required)
Minimum of 1-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience (required)
Experience with Cardiac and/or Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.) procedures (highly desirable)
BLS and ACLS certification (required)
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
