Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Business Analyst for our client located in Tallahassee, FL. This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. Job Overview : The business analyst is a member of a full lifecycle development team. They will be expected to work across multiple business units to perform business and detailed systems analysis activities and tasks. They will provide oversight for development team activities. They will work directly with subject matter experts (SME) and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are thoroughly documented, tested, and achieved. They will be involved, and work in concert with other team members, to analyze, design, implement, and test solutions.Research and understand FDOT business processes and their inter-relationships.Research and understand the FDOT Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) system.Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units.Gather and document business and technical requirements.Coordinate and lead the activities of the development team.Collaborate with the technical and functional teams to develop technical specifications and other documents in support of the Identity Administration and Governance solution.Coordinate data migration and development teams.Create detailed use cases, business rules, and requirements.Develop and execute Test Plans and Test Cases.Coordinate and oversee the User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing.Track bugs and backlog items using Microsoft DevOps.Provide daily updates to the Project Management Team.Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards.Required Qualifications : 3 years of solid business / systems analysis experience and software development projectsProficiency in Microsoft Offer Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to relate to stakeholders' needs, document their requirements, and perform duties in the absence of staffAbility to receive and give constructive criticism and maintain effective work relationships with othersAbility to adjust to changing demands in a dynamic environment with diverse work assignmentsPreferred Qualifications : Experience working with Microsoft DevOps Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 - 60GG-5, Florida Administrative CodeCertified Scrum Master (CSM)Experience with directing and managing project resourcesExperience with configuration and customization of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) productsExperience with data migrationKnowledge of change and release managementPreference will be given to candidate with knowledge of Florida Department of Transportation systems and applicationsExperience working with Microsoft Power BIEducation : A Bachelor's degree in an IT related field is preferred.Advanced Systems Design, Inc. is : A leading Information Technology provider for Federal, State & Local government agencies.A certified minority-owned small business government contractor with capabilities related to Public Health IT, Criminal Justice, Transportation, and Defense.A certified service-disabled veteran-owned company with a proud 42-year track record of providing successful innovative solutions for our government customers.A drug-free workplace in accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
