Job Overview
- Seeking an experienced Microsoft engineer on Azure cloud with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud.
- The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud-based tech, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and the ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient.
- The Systems Engineer position will work within the Infrastructure Services Section to provide configuration and support, technical expertise, and administration of Azure and On-Prem Active Directory services and servers knowledge of additional tools and services, such as IIS, SCOM, Powershell scripting, and ability to work in a collaborative environment is essential.
- An extensive knowledge of cloud maintenance and Azure certification AZ103/104 is required.
- 5 years of the following:
- Entra ID and app management
- Entra ID Connect and identify synchronization
- PowerShell scripting or other automation scripting
- SSO, SAML/OIDC and authentication protocols, NTLM, Kerberos, OAuth, etc.
- Upgrading and configuring system software and hardware components
- Administering, managing, and maintaining Group Policy in a Windows Server environment
- Maintain Azure resources, user access, services
- Active Directory administration
- Windows Server Administration
- Assist in the formation and maintenance of system standards
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
- Review system and application logs, verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
- Repair and recover from system failures
- Work closely with other departments to address system and infrastructure concerns
- Knowledge of Linux administration
- Experience with Ubuntu or RedHat
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft AZ103/104 certification
