Atss has a client in Lockport, LA looking for a Production Program Manager.

- Basic Function : Coordinates and leads the build strategy efforts and activities for completing the vessel and works under the general direction of the Program Management department.
- Responsibilities : Responsible for coordinating the entire effort of activities happening on the vessel(s) such as monitoring the status of all production budgets, production schedules, efforts of production & subcontract crafts, material / receiving orders in addition to developing compartment completion & delivery schedules and acting as a contact with owner’s representative on production aspects of the project.
- Requirements : Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience in a shipbuilding or related manufacturing field setting in addition to production planning / scheduling or production supervisory experience. Must be highly knowledgeable within ship production practices and procedures. Must also be able to analyze and interpret blueprints and production drawings, plan cost effective work procedures compatible with quality requirements in addition to being able to effectively communicate, instruct and direct a production team. Basic knowledge in using MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point), problem-solving ability and capability of multi-tasking are required.
