We are seeking Commercial Driving professionals to join our faculty team. As an adjunct faculty member, you'll provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes. If you are highly motivated and passionate about teaching, ATI may be the place for you.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 or more years of recent work experience as a tractor trailer truck driver
Licensing Requirements:
- Class A CDL
- Must be able to obtain a CDL Instructor License in the state of VA (requires submission to a criminal history and DMV check)
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with a variety of learning styles and skill levels
- Strong time management skills and detail-orientation
- Working knowledge of computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new computer software
- Ability to teach nights and weekends
