Job Title : Network / Data Engineer
Required Education and Experience :
- Experience : Five (5) years’ experience directly related to the position having worked in the field as a network data engineer; troubleshooting and configuration of Cisco Routers and Switches, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Voice-over-IP phones, Cisco ASA / Palo Alto security appliances and TACLANE devices; installation and operation of Servers, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Patch Panels, Media Converters, Avocent KVM switches, Ethernet / Fiber / Coaxial cables; Cryptographic Key Management; and performing preventative maintenance on all hardware as recommended by the equipment vendor specified warranty
- Be computer literate with emphasis on proficiency with MS Office products (i.e.; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access).

Work Environment : This job operates in a professional classroom and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work :
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.
Travel : No travel is expected for this position.
