What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director/VP of RF/Microwave Engineering position at Advanced Technology Search?
We are working on behalf of a mid-sized, but fast-growing maker of RF / Microwave modules and Integrated Microwave Assemblies for Defense market requirements.
They are looking for a Director / VP of Engineering , who will manage a team of 5 to 10 RF Design Engineers, as well as RF Test, Drafting and Documentation team members.
Their focus will be on hiring, training and motivate teams of RF Designers, project leadership, and technical customer interface.
- We need a BSEE or MSEE, with 10-15 years of hands-on RF / Microwave Design for Defense applications. They need to have developed into someone who leads design projects or manages teams, and is adept at discussing technical requirements with customers.
- Need deep RF / Microwave Module and IMA Design experience. Current hands- on design needed, as this person will be the company's key source of new product designs.
- Strong at technical customer interface. Understanding customer's system architecture, and developing specs for RF Designers.
- Manage projects; from product concept to rollout
Need to be US Citizen. Job is located on Long Island in the NYC area.
