What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal GaAs/GaN MMIC Designer position at Advanced Technology Search?
We’re working on behalf of a leading maker of GaAs and GaN Power Amplifiers for Defense, 5G, and Base Station markets. They are looking for a Principal / Lead MMIC Design Engineer. Their focus will be on GaAs and GaN Power Amplifiers, LNAs, Switches, and other MMICs.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
Qualifications :
- BSEE, MSEE, or PhDEE preferred
- 3-5 years of GaAs / GaN MMIC Design experience
- Doherty design experience is a plus
- Good insight into the best process / foundry to use
- Insight into the PA at the Front End Module level
We can consider candidates with experience in GaAs, GaN, or SiGe MMIC Design, as well as GaAs HBT PA Design from the mobile space.
Must hold a US Green Card or be a US Citizen.
