Electronic Technician – This position is tasked with troubleshooting and repairing electronic test and measurement equipment.Our Work Environment:

Pay Grade: $27.00-$35.00 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, inspects, and repairs a wide variety of electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Recognizes failures and setup problems, isolate problems, and take appropriate action to resolve those problems.
- Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- Ensures escalation of issues if repairs become problematic or lengthy.
- Provides support to the Calibration Laboratory and Sales Team on all production assignments and works with other departments for miscellaneous assignments.
- Troubleshoots electronic components to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction.
- Ensures that all repairs meet manufactures specifications and exceeds ATEC’s quality standards.
- Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information. needed and enters it into our tracking software.
- Cleans, re-labels and re-packages equipment in relation to the above activities.
- Fabrication for repair of instruments needed.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of OHMS law and electronic theory.
- Experience in through hole and surface mount soldering.
Education
Associate Degree Required- Minimum of an Associate degree in an electronic discipline preferred.
