💰 Pay: $42 per 45-60 minute treatment session

Advanced Therapeutic Solutions, LLC is looking for a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team!

As a Music Therapist, you will design and implement individualized music-based interventions to improve clients’ communication, emotional expression, motor skills, and social engagement. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a flexible, client-centered environment and is committed to evidence-based therapy practices.

✔ Facilitating engaging and therapeutic music experiences tailored to each client’s needs

✔ Accurately documenting assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans to ensure compliance and quality care

✔ Collaborating with families, caregivers, and caseworkers to support meaningful client progress

✔ Advocating for music-based therapeutic interventions in schools, homes, and community settings

✔ Managing a flexible caseload while maintaining high-quality therapy standards

🔹 Develop and implement individualized Music Therapy treatment plans

🔹 Assess client functional abilities, strengths, and needs using the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) framework

🔹 Conduct one-on-one Music Therapy sessions, utilizing singing, instrument play, movement, and improvisation to address therapeutic goals

🔹 Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and service reviews, in compliance with Medicaid and CMH standards

🔹 Stay up to date with best practices and research in Music Therapy

🔹 Educate and mentor interns and students pursuing Music Therapy certification

✅ Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) – Required

✅ Experience working with individuals with disabilities, IDD, or behavioral health needs

✅ Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills

✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams and families

✅ Ability to work independently while maintaining high professional standards

✅ Knowledge of Medicaid documentation standards (preferred)
