What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Sterile Processing Technician position at Advanced Urology?
MISSION
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for preparing, tracking, and sterilizing equipment and instruments in an accurate and timely manner, as well as supplying the operating room with case carts, sterile trays, and supplies for all areas of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
OUTCOMES
- Maintains clean and sterile equipment in accordance to manufacturer recommendations and current policies with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
- Willing to learn and adopt new responsibilities based on shifting demands of providers and the medical team.
- Effectively provides quality control through routine testing and cleaning to assure sterilization equipment and instruments are functioning properly, while continuing to provide accurate documentation.

Credentials/Licensures:
- Sterile Processing Certification
Preferred Qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in sterile processing field
- 1 years of experience in urology/urogynecology field
- 1 year of experience in robotic instrument sterilization (Alpharetta Location Only)
