Advanced Vehicle Assemblies, LLC is a leading North American company with headquarters in Rochester Hills, MI and facilities in Roseville, Milan, and Monterrey, MX. We seek an experienced Account Manager to drive customer growth and maintain existing business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess customer needs and develop strategies to meet their requirements relative to our company and its customers.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to create product portfolio marketing packages.
- Establish strong relationships with customers and communicate our product portfolio, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Contribute to revenue planning by developing 3-5 year forecasts.
- Develop programs to maintain and increase sales, or address customer objections to current products.
- Cultivate request for quotes (RFQs) from targeted customers.
- Coordinate quotation packaging and submission.
- Recommend and implement programs to recover, maintain, or increase profitability.
- Develop strategic marketing and sales plans, as well as long-term revenue and market share forecasts.
- Ensure terms and conditions are favorable to the company.
- Serve as liaison between the company and customers, maintaining open communication at all times.
- Utilize corporate strengths in design and manufacturing to recommend and implement programs.
- Solicit, record, and administer customer purchase orders, tooling orders, and sample data.
- Analyze and report on current and future positions or plans.
- Prepare sales reports for current business and estimates for short and long range factors impacting company plans.
- Participate in sales projections, market potentials, and trends.
Requirements:
- Experience constructing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
- Ability to create budgets for sales forecasting.
- Strong team environment skills.

- Familiarity with management principles through experience and/or training.
- Understanding of scientific principles to interpret, modify, or develop standards.

- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Experience in small to mid-size automotive companies serving OEM and Tier1 customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, engineering, and sales-driven businesses.
- 5-7 years' experience in Sales or Account Manager role.
