The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Equipment management: Managing equipment specification sheets for the facility, reviewing and approving new RFQ process and product requirements.
- Continuous improvement: Leading initiatives to increase profit potential and reduce costs, tracking and reporting progress of CI Projects.
- Project management: Scheduling regular meetings with the engineering team to discuss projects and task lists, assisting in designing and developing roll form tooling and secondary operations.
- Quality assurance: Assisting with customer issues and working alongside the Quality manager.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- 8 years of experience in roll forming and metal forming processes.
- Familiarly with CNC machines and stretch bending of steel and aluminum.
- Strong understanding of stamping processes as well as general assembly.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
